What I learned from phone dating

I have been into phone dating now for about a year. When I first started I knew nothing about the industry apart from the seedy reputation I had heard about when I was younger. Thankfully the modern phone chat lines are nothing like the schoolyard whispers told me as a thriving industry has risen up.

Phone dating now consists of everyday people looking for a way of meeting other singles that is fun and relaxed. With a mobile phone you can even view picture profiles, which means that it is now joining Internet dating in terms of technology.

Phone dating taught me to have fun, relax and enjoy myself. I learned that I shouldn’t take myself so seriously or be afraid to laugh at myself. Talking to people isn’t half as scary as I thought it was going to be and I am only a disconnect button away from safety if someone does make me feel uncomfortable or gets a bit pushy!

Phone dating is a great leveler. You could be talking to a doctor or a single mother, but if you treat everybody with respect you will have some amazing conversations.
